How can I get an internship in Washington, D.C. in Capitol Hill?

I am doing what you call a senior project. I do not want a paid internship. Something more like I would have the ability to see how the Congress runs for a day. Are people allowed to sit-n on these sessions? Possibly meeting a representative or congressman would be cool too. I would also need it in March, only for like a weekend, so its not too much to ask for hopefully.

Most Congressional proceedings are open to the public. Depending on the hearing you may have to get passes in advance, but that can be done easily enough. If you're looking for something more personal, email the office of your Congressional representative with the same sort of message you posted here. Depending on how lucky you are, you might get a guided tour of the office, or maybe even get to meet the Rep.

call your rep and ask for a tour of hte capitol. say you're doing it for school and you might get to meet hte rep depending on the day. i intern on capitol hill now so let me know if you have any more questions.
