How can I improve my extracurriculars?

Here are my current ecs:

Board member of an online newspaper, have been part of this organization for 6 years (1 hour/week)

Founder and president of a science camp for kids at my local library (2 hours/week)

Vice president of conservation club at my school - implemented a battery and paper recycling program, along with solar panels in the parking lot (1 hour/week)

Team captain at a prominent science organization that caters to families. (There are hundreds of volunteers and 8 total team captains). (5.5 hours/week)

Interning at the Yan lab at UCI (studying malaria) (4 hours/week)

Those are all my extracurriculars… Any advice on how I can improve them? I’m currently a junior and my dream school is columbia, I’m hoping to major in something sciencey, not really sure what yet.

From what I see, besides the newspaper organization, I can tell you’re interested in science. It would help admission officers if you had more directed science fields such as ecs in biology, physics, or chemistry. It’s pretty good right now, but there’s always room for improvement. I’d say try going out for regional science fairs or something state wide. From results and rumors this year, the people who got accepted to ivies 2023 had at least national rankings and those who didn’t had something else used as Hooks which I cannot disclose. Hope it helped and good luck!

Thanks for the help @BioType1 ! Sorry this reply is so late, I did a science fair in the meantime and even though I didn’t win anything, it was a really nice experience.
