How can I prepare for the National Spanish Exam?

Did you take it? Do you have any advice? I'm in Spanish 4 IB right now and we're using the Revista 2nd edition but haven't learn much new grammar this year; we've mainly been reading and talking a lot. (although my speaking skills seem to be deteriorating lol)

I took it last year, and we did practice tests on the NSE website. It was hard though; I mainly took chances. There’s a listening part but that was really easy.

Know Spanish.

You’re welcome.

I didn’t study at all lol. I only received a Premio de Plata though.

I honestly don’t remember too much from it lol.

It is now April 2010 and I was reading these posts from last year. In case anyone looks here for guidance, I thought I’d mention that the National Spanish Exam head office sells a vocabulary CD Rom which is very helpful for studying. It’s kind of pricy ($35, if I remember correctly) but it’s worth it to have a better sense of what words might be on the exam.

Anyway, that’s my two cents’ worth…
