How close are Brown and RISD?

<p>How close are they? Also, does Providence have a big art scene? Does anyone have friends who go to RISD?</p>

<p>At their “border”, about a third the way down the hill, they blend into each other. That said, there are plenty of Brown students who have never ventured into RISD and vice versa. Some activities at Brown include RISD students and there is some co-mingling, dating etc. All depends on who you are, what you do.</p>

<p>It’s literally right down the hill from Brown. A five or ten minute walk at most.</p>
