How Come We Don't Hear More About Denver?

It’s a really nice interview and very laid back.

She should just go in there ready to talk about her EC’s, or anything else she’s passionate about. It’s not really about impressing so much as getting to know you, as a person.

She could ask a question if she wanted. It’s not long. It’s not rigorous. And she should really just relax and be herself.

I encouraged (read-pushed) my son to apply as he’s looking HARD at UC Boulder and CSU and we have a good family friend who is a DU graduate (albeit 30 years ago) Figuring once we make the schlep to visit the other schools-he might like it. As it ended up he spent his whole Colorado “college visit” at the other campuses. Then maybe 14 days ago he received an email confirming that “all of his required application items had been received and thanks for applying.” This was cool because DU doesn’t have a “check application status” feature. THEN not 12 hours later he was sent an email from someone else at the school with a link which he clicked and said he was missing a transcript and counselor letter. He emailed back and told them about the conflicting messages and asked for clarification…NADA back… Private universities should be bending over backward to compete in this economy…waste of the hefty application fee
