How competitive is it to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona from a csu?

I am in my second year of college and plan on applying to cal poly Pomona next fall (3rd year). I currently have a gpa of a 3.5 and will probably be raised a little after this semester.

Is my gpa strong enough to get accepted into cal poly for mathematics? Is it competitive to get in with that major?
