How competitive/popular is the major Business, Entrepreneurship & Organizations?

Can’t decide what to put as intended major on the Common App. I’m debating between:

  • Business, Entrepreneurship & Organizations
  • Comparative Literature
  • Mathematics
  • Urban Studies

I’d love to do all of them! I really can’t decide. Do a lot of people list Business as their intended major? How competitive is it and what kind of qualifications would you need (like straight As, your own business, etc.)?

Brown doesn’t admit into specific concentrations. Just list whatever you’re most interested in, academically.

^agree on this. Since Brown doesn’t admit by college but rather just to the overall university, it doesn’t really matter what you put on your app for your intended concentration. It’s just to get a better feel for the applicant.

Students are not admitted to Brown or Columbia based upon their majors. Brown has a Business, Entrepreneurship & Organizations major. CU only has a Business Mgt major.

How competitive is Business? Do you have to have opened a company or smth to be seriously considered?
