How deep does business majors go into excel and access?

I'm currently taking a computer in business class. We covered basically word, excel, access, and powerpoint.

So far I can't say that I'm failing the class because I have a C+ and I think with the last project and final exam I can definitely bump my grade to an A- at least. I know this will not be my last computer related class, but I was wondering how deep does upper level business classes go into excel and acces in my junior and senior years?

Because I think now that I didn't grasp everything I just know the basics really. Like I know enough little to navigate my way, but anything deeper I get often stuck.

I'm a sophomore so I still didn't declared my major yet, but I'm thinking about finance or mis.

you’d better get comfortable in excel at least. many financial calculations, supply chain problems, inventory management problems, decision support analysis problems, and more are much more easily solved using excel. you’ll have to learn to do them by hand, and by financial calculator, but eventually you’re going to want to do them all in excel. as for access, i never really got into it for school (undergrad or master’s) but it is a fun and useful program even if you just learn the basics. the same can be said for microsoft project. if you take project management the software is indispensable and eventually becomes useful, even fun.
