How did you celebrate your birthday your freshman year?

My birthday is in late April so it ALWAYS falls right before finals week at my school.

My freshman year, my grandparents took me to a local restaurant and gave me a birthday cake to enjoy in my dorm room and share with my friends. Nothing grand or special. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m a commuter. I had cake and pizza at my house, with my family and my boyfriend.

No lie, I’ve gotten snapchats from friends who were completely plastered in class on their birthdays. It happens :slight_smile:

Usually goes like this

  1. Midnight surprise at the library with cupcakes/small cake while being obnoxiously loud
  2. Lunch or dinner with close group of friends
  3. Party later that night for large group of friends/aquaintances to take as many shots as your age in years.
  4. If 21+ (and many times, when they’re not), ditch own party to go downtown with close group of friends
