How did you get into MIT?

<p>This question is for anybody who got into MIT or knows anothing about their application process. </p>

<p>My dream school is MIT and I would love to go there. I'm still a junior in high school and I have yet to take the SATs. But I have a 3.8 GPA and take all AP and honors classes. I got a 5 on the AP European History Exam. I play volleyball, am on Student Council, and write for the school newspaper. I volunteer for my local senior center as well. Do I stand a chance? Thanks in advance. :)</p>

<p>It’s too early to say, given that you have not taken one of the major standardized tests (or have you). Have you taken a practice PSAT yet?</p>
