How difficult the physics is in college?

Hello! I’m a senior in HS. I decide to go for Civil Engineering (2 years in NKU and finish at UK). I’m not so good physics in HS. In fact, I’m an immigrant who moved here in the middle of junior in HS. I studied physics once before I came here so that I have credit in physics and do not need to take it again in U.S., but I personally think it is so different from here. I’m afraid of physics where lots of principles and concepts can confuse the immigrant student like me, especially I’m not so good at physics. I think it’s really difficult to understand the concepts and apply it in real life.

So how hard is it in college? Anybody who is studying it please answers my question. On a scale from 1-10, how do you guys mark it? Does it involve lots of Calculus? I myself do not struggle with AP Calculus in HS, but physics scares me away.

Please answer my question 'cause I have no idea where I can ask this except on the internet. Thank you pretty much.

If you’re going into engineering, you need to not be afraid of physics.

Essentially all physics required for one studying engineering is calculus based - even the freshman introductory classes.
AP Physics C was significantly more difficult for me than the standard high school physics class, and most would argue that AP Physics is not as rigorous as a genuine college course.
