How difficult to change majors within a college at CMU? And Tepper question

<p>How difficult to change majors within a college at CMU? Like right away... If I apply under a statistics major in HSS is it going to be hard to switch into an econ major at HSS like right at the beginning of freshman year?</p>

<p>Also in the commonapp why is Business Administration only available under Tepper? What if I want to major in finance is that available at CMU Tepper? THanks so much!</p>

<p>Not difficult at all, it’s effortless. There’s nothing to do — when you’re accepted, you’re accepted to the college and your major is not declared until you do. Switching to a different major in a different college is probably more complicated.</p>
