How do colleges know which SAT score is yours?

I have already sent all of my SAT scores but I was curious in regards to how colleges attach your SAT scores to your application. I’m a little worried that colleges won’t be able to attach my SAT scores to my application as I didn’t provide college board with my social security number (it was optional) or my California student ID as I provided my school ID number instead… (I didn’t know my California state ID number at the time but I later found out and put it on my actual application though) So how do colleges match an application to a set of SAT scores? Do they use your name and date of birth?

Basically. Many, maybe even most, people don’t put their SS# on their SAT scores and there’s no issue there. Colleges don’t even - likely - have your SS# anyway, as it’s not on any application. Don’t worry. Your username is very fitting.

Thanks for the reply (I also think my user name suits me)
I guess I shouldn’t worry too much and I’m probably overthinking it… (btw UC and CSU applications actually do require your SS#)

“I’m probably overthinking it” Why don’t you hazard a guess at how many SAT, ACT, AP, CLEP exam scores have been funneled to schools & scholarship programs? You’re probably more likely to get hit by a meteorite than for your scores to go missing.
