This is kind of a stupid question, but how closely do colleges look at/interpret your GPA? For example, I currently have a 3.95 GPA UW but if it dropped to a 3.93 UW would colleges look at that as a big difference and care? Thanks!
A .02 drop is not a terribly significant change.
They look mainly at your transcript (courses you took and grades in them) and less on the numbers (What I mean is that they don’t focus on the numbers as some people take music, PE, electives which can negatively impact their GPA). A 0.02 drop in GPA is probably 1 B? If so, then it really won’t make a difference.
If you want to major in English and you got a B in your literature course (perhaps because you decided to coast in 12th grade), that would be a concern.
