How do I become a Senior Member?

First I thought it was 100 posts...then 200...then a year of being registered. So what is it? Can't stop being a junior memb.

I think it’s 300 for member and 1000 for Sr

seriously, why do you care? does it give you a sense of entitlement?

There’s an initiation you have to go through. And trust me, I still get nightmares about it.

It does give me a sense of entitlement, actually. Is there anything wrong with that? Why would they have different denotations in the first place if they weren’t meant to signify something? Thanks Harvey.

Protip: For quick increases in post count, go to the SAT forum and yell out “Use only Blue Book” every time anyone so much as mentions PR, Kaplan, Barrons or any other test prep.

i think it’s after 1000 posts :)

I actually enjoyed it.

But I’m a pretty ****ed up guy.

^ :open_mouth: I thought you were a girl all this time.

Post MOAR! Oh and don’t post here, HSL posts don’t count. Suprisingly CL posts do though.

That initiation was pretty brutal.

^and PSA

Isn’t 10,000 posts the requirement for ‘super member’?

:O

I’m not willing to become a CC addict just to get a senior member designation. Oh well. Just curious, thanks guys.

lol no, unfortunately. Celebrian had 10,000 posts but did not receive such a designation

omg thx so much. I’ve been looking for cheating ways of getting to member status, from asking everyone in College Search if they’ve considered financial aid, to saying “you have a good shot at all of them” to every chance thread, but those aren’t as legit seeming. Lemme start a thread to get more. or necro one.

If you’re a junior, join an EA discussion thread - the easiest way to become a senior member within three months. We talked about the most inconsequential, HSL-like topics AND the posts all counted.

Because it’s a real forum.

Discussions between applicants. I posted so much on the Harvard 2014 thread.

I posted so much during Yale SCEA (and I got rejected:P).

You don’t.

I thought I’d become promoted to a member after 200 posts. Unfortunately, I need 100 more for that title. >_<
