How do i check my essay score for the may SAT?

Topic question

Log into your account at College Board and you can view your scores there.

It should be posted with your other scores

What if it is not there? Does that mean they couldnt read my handwriting and will score it at a later date? ( I have bad handwriting too)

When you log in, you should get a screen called “My Scores” - it will have all your scores to date. The detail for the reasoning test should include “View my score report and essay.” Click on that.

If you don’t have that, I don’t know - maybe your grade hasn’t been finalized yet, but I would think you have a message saying that somewhere on that screen.

so my writing score will go up? It says that “Your May 2009 score report and essay will be available on May 30, 2009” so does this mean my writing score will be boosted if i get a good score on the essay?

I honestly don’t know. I find it hard to believe they would have posted your composite writing score before your essay was graded. On your score report section, click on the “writing” heading and see whether you get any more insight that way. Otherwise, I guess you will know by the weekend.

Ranka,
This happened to DS also. He found his essay score by following the link on the Collegeboard website that says “May Scores are Olnine” (right side of page). After he logged in via that link, his complete scores were there, including essay.

Hope it works for you.

Oct 5 sat: showing writing section composite score without showing essay score
Could it be because of browser settings?

obviously it isn’t or this question would not be posted. that was a dumb ass answer that wasted everyone’s time. you should keep your dumbass comments like that to yourself you dumbass.
