How Do I Do this?

Major in electronic engineering and Pre-pharm.

You don't. Pick one.

Declare electronic engineering as your major. Find out what courses are required for pre-pharm (aka Entrance to Pharmacy School) and take those. Similar to how an Engineering major can also be "pre-med" by fulfilling Medical School Entrance requirements.

pre-pharm is not a major. it could be in some schools but what it really is is a list of courses you have to take to meet the pharm school requirements. so you can take your EE classes and pre-pharm classes together, get a degree in EE and go to pharm school. i don't really see a reason to do this though, since EE and pharmacy are unrelated. it would be easier to be a chem or bio major if you're prepharm because many courses overlap.

It's because my dad wants me to study electronic engineering and take over his job when he retires. But I want to be a Pharmacist, so I'm somewhat confused. Just wondering if it was possible. Like if I end up not liking my dad's job, I can always fall back to plan B- pharmacy.

it's your future. be a phramacist.
your back-up plan should be ee, not pharmacy.

Hmm.. ok. I'll try to work something out.

Best. Reply. Ever.

And I actually agree with it 100%...I'm sorry to tell you, but you should just pick one major and go with it. Pick the one you are more interested in...on a hunch, that's Pre-Pharm.

How's the future outlook for jobs of Pharm Degree and Engineering major?

Future employment is highly uncertain. A lot engineering desk jobs are being outsourced to India. Pharmacy and health benefits are being cut back every year. So, study both - like one major and the other minor - and work at two part time jobs to be safe. Be an engineer by the day and dispense medicines in the evening.
