For the CR section, i usually get -16 to -17, which yields about a 630, but the problem is, i get about -8 or -9 on the first CR passage-based section ALONE. I don't usually get any SC wrong. In the first CR section that appears on the test, I'll usually get -8 or -9 on the passage-based questions, and for the CR sections that come after i get -3 or at most -4 on the passage-based questions. Is the first CR section that appears supposed to be harder than the two that come after it? Or is it the transition my brain makes from math to CR that's giving me so many wrong?

I actually have the same question because in the first section, i usually get -2/-3 on passage based but then in the second section, i usually get -4/-5 and sometimes -6. Why is the second lower for me?
To the OP: your situation is essentially the same but reversed.

@fresh101, it’s so strange, even if the second or third critical reading sections are supposedly very hard, i won’t get more than 4 wrong on them, but the first section always gives me trouble…

Help anyone?
