How would i go about improving math scores.. Try to omit more or get more right? I would think the latter. But how do i improve my skills?

I want to raise my scores by 60 points (520 in nov to 600) by the December SAT. I'm just lost cause i dont have a plan to go about doing it!

Here are my stats for a practice math section i did--

section(Total questions) ___ Number right -Number wrong _=Raw Score
4(8 questions) ____________5 __ -(.25 x 2 ) =4.5
2(10 questions)FILL IN ______6 __ -(no wrong penalty)= 6
5(20 Questions)___________10 - _(.25 x 5 ) _=8.75
8(16 questions) __________10 - _(.25 x 4 ) _= 9
Raw Total=29=530

Goal
Raw= 38=600

Is it doable?

Usually with math it's (a) certain topic(s) that mess you up, so look at the problems you got wrong and try to find a pattern.

Thats what i was thinking actually. I did notice that my worse math section was section five. If i omitted three less and got five more right i'd be in a good. its ambitious, i know

Does anyone know what topics are covered in this section? or do the topics vary depending on the test?

Lol a good start would be:

600-520 = 80

not 60

lol sorry i mistyped that

i knew it was 80! :)

Well that explains the math...
Just joking! :P
Keep doing problems and I'm sure you'll even be able to get into the 700s range. SAT 1 reasoning math is pretty dam simple stuff.

I had a feeling that joke was coming!! lol I was surprise no1 said that before actually

i would be extremely happy with a 600 let alone a 700... perhaps i should have studied for months instead of weeks. its too late now tho

I took the Huntington SAT course actually. it didnt help as much as i hoped it would :/
