How do we know they will look at our January SAT scores?

Okay, I'm asking this more out of curiosity as appose to being one of those uber-stressy people who can't sleep at night with the though of pieces of application paper flying around in their head.

I took the January SAT, indicated I would do so on the common app, but had already taken it before. Anyway, i went up 100 points, and it hasn't been updated on-line (im not sure if they would bother) but how do we know it has atleast been acknowledged? It's only 100 points, but I would like to atleast think it will be noted. Anyone have any idea?

Wait a sec, do cornell even take january SAT scores? its still a relevant question for the other colleges I applied to!

They take it if they were selected as one of the receipient of the score. I believe that you need to rush your score if you did not do so. This is my own opinion, but I think 100 points will not make a huge difference.

Depends on what sort of increase it is, really. 100 points could make a reasonable difference if, say, it was 100 points on a single section, or if it bumped a score into the median range for the school, or whatever.
