I would appreciate any input. Because I think the schools are very similar in many aspects, but that's just my opinion.

I believe the Catholic atmosphere is much more present at Notre Dame than at Georgetown.

I give much of an opinion on Notre Dame but both Georgetown and BC are great choices

BOth have great acedemics
Georgetown is better if you are into polysci

Both have great college towns
BC = boston, great city and deffinately the best college town because so many schools are in the area. Lots of college kids - lots to do
*Celtics and Patriots - great sports teams
G'town : also great college town. MUCH more expensive. Although it has an adorable town, the stores and such are crazy expensive. DC is great though. ALWAYS stuff to do.
* caps games are very enjoyable - really the only quality DC team

both so close, G'town is harder to get into

you will be happy at both.

They are all really great schools.

As far as location BC and Georgetown are both city schools, insulated to their own degree by a more suburban environment. I have only visited BC once, but the area around Georgetown is a great combination of the opportunities of a big city across the bridge and the safety of smaller town, a lot of senators live in the area.
Notre Dame is a different setting. South Bend isn't Boston or DC, so much more of your college experience will be on campus. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is up to you.

Notre Dame and BC are both more homogeneously Catholic than Georgetown. Georgetown has a larger international population and is generally more diverse. If you are looking for a strong Catholic community it is available at all three schools, but it is probably the most vocal at Notre Dame. I'm a protestant who regularly attends mass at Georgetown and really loves the clergy. If your faith is important to you, you can't go wrong at any of the schools. For details sake, BC and Georgetown are Jesuit. Notre Dame is run by different order.

All three have a strong sports tradition. BC and Notre Dame in football. Georgetown and Notre Dame in basketball. There is a lot of spirit and tradition on each campus. Out of the three of these BC is probably the least recognized.

I think the biggest difference is academics and available internships. Notre Dame and Georgetown are much stronger academically than BC, not that BC doesn't have strong departments. Their business program is very good and like DC Boston is great for internships. The difference between Georgetown and Notre Dame is marginal school to school. It would probably come down to what you want to study. What school would you apply to?

Wow, that's a lot of information :D

I got in BC Early Action, and was thinking about applying to Georgetown. But I decided not to, just because I don't like Georgetown much compared to BC. I spent a lot of time on the BC campus and I really love the atmosphere.

ND is easy to rule out, just bc I didn't want to go to the Midwest :D

wow hec2008, thats a lot of information! I'm in a similar dilemma because I got in all three schools' business department.
Do you have more insights specifically on the business majors such as accounting/finance, internship and future job opportunitie wise? Right now i'm leaning towards Gtown merely because I live in Maryland, so i think that'd save me some traveling costs lol.

It depends on were you want to do... I personally (based on my opinion, what I have heard/been told, and read)... if you want to go on Wall Street, Gtown over others, not to say the others don't place, but you're have a bigger and better alumni network at Georgetown. Gtown is also a target school for most (if not all) BB banks, again not sure about the others... all good schools...

You shouldn't want to come to Gtown b/c of traveling costs, you should really visit each campus and see which one you like best and can see yourself excelling in. Trust me, you don't want to make a mistake (not that you will with Gtown), but you want to make sure its the right one before committing...

Between these three schools, which one allows you the best opportunity to go to the top fifteen business/law schools?

It appears Georgetown as well... though its a bit outdated, but...

Do you have other links on rankings like this one? I really appreciate it.

no sorry, I would like to see other ones as well, so if anyone finds another one like this, please post
