I may be going to an All Girls College in Boston...Simmons to be specific. I'd figure I'd meet guys anytime, anywhere since it's Boston and I feel that I should focus on my studies (Physical Therapy) in an enviroment of the same sex. What are your views on it? Why do some people just shudder at the thought of it?

Uhm, I guess that you technically should be able to focus better in a same-sex environment. Except I would shoot myself in that position, because sometimes girls can be hard to deal with - even disregarding the fact that everyone would end up having PMS at the same time.

Well, I guess you can argue that you'll have guys around, but the way I see it, any relationships you'd have with a guy from another school would probably not be platonic, and the platonic ones are definitely the ones that keep you sane.

it rocks.....imagine....the pillow fights, the lesbian relationships, the nude midnight strolls......
bambubble bursts*

^haha, but all that could be in just an all girls residence hall in any school.

I think it's a privilege to be able to apply to Wellesley.

For one, 90% of my friends are guys, so I could never ever go to an all girls school, unless it was next door to the abercrombie model training center. My friend is a freshman at Bryn Mawr and she loves it. No pressure to look good all the time. She says that there are guys around from other colleges nearby.

ugh-I completely hate my all girls high school. Too many hormones in one place...however, college might be completely different...just be sure there are colleges around, and visit to make sure you like the atmosphere
