How do you guys 'review' completed practice tests?

Hey guys. I'm planning on taking the October PSAT and SAT and needed a few pointers. So far I have completed the first practice test in the old BB and the 2008 Saturday PSAT version. I am a little bit confused on how I should go about reviewing/studying these tests once I have completed them. All I do is go over the wrong answers to see what I did wrong, and then try to come up with a proper method. But for some reason, I feel like it's not enough. Can somebody explain what I should do to get the most out of the tests? How do you guys do it?
Thanks for the help in advance!

Review your correct answers to see why you got it RIGHT. Sometimes, the same type of question in different context might get you wrong if you don’t review the correct answers. Look at your wrong answers and think about your way of thinking when you solved those and analyse why this way was wrong.

Don’t just try to understand your incorrect answers in retrospect, but ask yourself, “What can I do differently to avoid similar mistakes next time?” Don’t just look for explanations to specific problems; look for general patterns that you can apply to future tests.
