How do you know you want to go for a business major?

Confusing question but I just want to know why/how did you guys know you wanted to be business majors?

I understand that if you are a biology junkie that it would move a student towards a medical field or if someone really liked english, they would pursue a journalism major.

What do you (for the lack of better terms) have to be "good at" to go for a business major? Do you have to well in math or with numbers? Should you be an excellent writer?

And i understand that the term "business" is incredibly broad so if you can just put in your quick two cents with your specific field of study like Accounting for example and maybe WHY and WHAT led you to it, it would be great.

I'm sorry for the confusing question, I just had no idea how to word it.
Also for the bad grammar i am currently typing on an ipad.

Thank you!!!!!

I like accounting so I’m going for an accounting major. I don’t think it should be any different than any other major. A lot of people go into business for the money, but there are better majors for that and in the end its stupid to spend 4 years and a whole lot of cash for an expected salary.

Business majors usually work well with other people and have a good business sense. Like JeremyS said, it’s all about the specialization or major within the business school that should be based on interests and skills. If you are interested in management, you should have leadership skills. If you are interested in marketing, you should have good communication skills. If you are interested in finance or accounting, you should be good at math and be interested in solving problems.
