A lot of you are talking about knowing that kids got into Columbia with a 1200 or even a few lower. How did you find this out? Is there a website out there that lists some SAT scores or profiles of kids that get in? I'd really love to know!

i think it's just that they've heard someones that knew someone that knew someone who got in with a 1200 score he-he

as for the web-site...i don't think so
SAT score is a private thing, i dont think you can find it anywhere except for the www.collegeboard.com (but only your score)

For the class of 2008, the 25-75% of students earned between 1310-1510. That means 25% of all students who were admitted earned below a 1310. Rightfully assuming that not all of these are 1300, one can safely conclude that a lot of students with 1200's scores (probably even lower) are accepted. The day the SAT is a deciding factor for admission is the day the admissions offices completely fail at their job.
