<p>Do you say the letters out like P-L-M-E or do you say it like a real word?</p>
<p>When I went on the Brown tour, I think they pronounced it "PLEE-me."</p>

<p>wow, I always thought people just said the letters. "Plee-me" sounds really cute, though, like a sound a cuddly animal would make.</p>
<p>Yeah I thought it was just the letters too. Good thing I haven't said it out loud...that would have been embarassing.</p>

<p>when i did my visit as a senior in high school, I thought people were saying "he's a pygmy" I was so confused.</p>
<p>maan I said P-L-M-E at my interview, and I thought my interviewer said pleeemeee, but I thought he just kind of jumbled the letters together. ):</p>
<p>my interviewer said "risdee." it took me awhile to figure out that he meant the rhode island school of design (risd). haha.</p>
