I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question!

I thought that you had to get an MBA to become a Business graduate since my mom got her MBA after studying Biology and genetics for her undergrad but can you claim to be a business major right after you get a bachelors? Would someone mind explaining this to me? I am confused on why some schools offer a pre-business major if its not an MBA?

Business major is a very broad field which include but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management Information System, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, General Business Administrations, etc. Many schools offer business at the undergraduate level. You can be a Business graduate with a BS or BA in business. MBA is mostly for other undergraduate majors, e.g. engineering, science, etc. to learn business related skills so to enter into management or business related areas, e.g. Investment Banking, etc.
