<p>What cortana says. Not all admissions are as public as say the UC system. Besides the universal unweighted 4.0 scale, it’s anyone’s guess.</p>
<p>So an A+ counts the same as an A regular?</p>
<p>If your school awards A+, and assigns them more than a 4.0, the I would expect them to remap a plain A to less than 4.0.</p>
<p>My school uses the 100 point system instead of 4.0 anyway, but I thought that generally an 100/A+ would be a 4.33…</p>
<p>Most schools don’t calculate A+s as anything. By 4.0 scale they mean 4.0 scale.</p>
<p>columbia doesn’t recalculate your gpa, it only compares you based on the school context in which you come from.</p>
