<p>Only Manchester United fans will have heard of Manchester, never mind the uni. They don’t do Geography in the US so the average person will have no idea. However, if you are thinking of working in the US, your question should be will employers in my field respect a degree from Manchester.</p>
<p>I live in Manchester. Manchester is a decent university - only that, in my uninformed opinion. Up and coming university. But there are better ones.</p>
<p>It’s decent. My reason for not applying there is that I would never want to live there. I doubt it could compare at all to NYU.</p>
