How does the LSAT correlate with the SAT ?

<p>not really. The only specific knowledge needed for the Lit test is the definitions of a handful of basic lit/writing terms, such as irony, imagery, tone, form, diction, genre, syntax and the like. But those questions are pretty easy to answer. The bulk of the test is interpreting the dense passages, including at least one killer, obscure poem. According to CB’s score distributions, even with self-selection evident in the Subject Tests, the LIt is the ‘hardest’ to score a 700+ (ignoring the foreign languages for non-natives).</p>

<p>If I had to guess I wouldn’t say SAT II Lit would be a good comparison to MCAT Verbal. Reading literature (especially poetry) is like interpreting an artistic work, while the passage sections of tests like the MCAT and GRE are scholarly writing.</p>
