How does UMD MTAP Program Work?

I am trying to understand how MTAP program for transfer to UMD from Community College works.

You apply for it by the November deadline. You’ll get an email saying you’ve been accepted into MTAP in December or January. You apply by the transfer priority deadline with your 3.0+ GPA and you are guaranteed admission. Make sure you take the freshman English class(es) equivalent to UMD’s engl101. You also need to take a college level math class that transfers over (ie. precalc or calc). Other then that just make sure you take 30+ credits total (including the English and math) that count towards your major or gen-eds.

This site finds the course equivalences between your CC and UMD. Make sure all your classes transfer over to what you need for your major at UMD.

Actually for the math you can take any of these courses if they have the equivalent at your CC:
