My daughter is just finished up her junior year of high school and wants to apply early to Pitt Nursing. She will be taking her SATs and ACTs both for the second time in early June. Can she basically apply as soon as we have her test scores? She won't be taking them again, as we are cautionly optimistic that she will get accepted even as she stands now. Not sure how early is too early!

Thanks for all of your help!

She can apply as soon as the application is available online. The app won’t be considered complete until all items are received (HS transcript, test scores, application).

For the HS class of 2010, the earliest acceptances to Pitt nursing started showing up on CC in early October. I’m guessing that even the applications that are submitted in the summer aren’t read until September (admissions folks go on vacations, just like the rest of us!). By all means have your D get the application in early, but don’t expect an answer until late September / early October.
