I'm studying with the REA and Kaplan books, but I read a post earlier demeaning the REA book.........so I'm getting pretty worried about the quality of the book..

I’m reading kaplan right now, which is very detailed (similar to barron’s)

I was also wondering if REA was realistic for the test, because i had read through it
and it seemed like it had alot of detailed questions that the even Barrons didn’t go over.
So i dont know, i’ve heard that its not very good

I highly recommend Princeton Review. I didn’t do spectacularly (760), but there were at least five or six questions that I would NOT have known if I hadn’t looked through PR the night before. It really nails what they ask on the test without giving a lot of extra info.
Just my $0.02

I’m planning on just using cliffs so I can ace the AP and the SAT II in one go, self-studying by the way. Cliffs may have more information than you need for the SAT II but I suggest you check it out.
