Please rate the following AP exam difficulty from easiest to hardest if one was to self study them:

----- AP Calc BC (taking AP Calc AB)
----- AP Biology (taking normal high school level Chemistry)
----- AP Economics (No background)
----- AP Government (Also no background)

AP Government
AP Economics
AP Calculus BC
AP Biology

BC covers just a little more topics than AB. If you're good at math, you should be fine.

AP Biology is probably the hardest to self study because it takes a lot of memorization. Since you've only had high school level Chemistry, it would be quite hard. Personally, I don't think it's an AP test worth self-studying. Just wait until you take the course.

I really don't think Bio is that hard to self-study. My teacher didn't really even teach the material. He just gave a quick preview of it and we were expected to read the book meticulously. We covered a chapter every one to two weeks. I used the Cliff's book to review for the AP exam. I got a 5.

Actually, the reason I have AP Biology listed there is because I have a younger sister who is taking AP Biology this year. I wanted to keep things simple, so I just asked as if I were taking the class. I used the Cliffs review book and did well. She doesn't think it's detailed enough, so she was wondering if there was something else that would help her.

The same goes for Econ, as well. She's taking it this year...I took it last year. She wants to get suggestions on that as well even though she's pretty much okay with PR.

My school won't give AP exams to subjects they don't teach! Have you ever had this problem? and what should I do? I've already contacted a couple of other nearby schools and they have the same (retarded) policy. Please HELP!

I go to a prep school, so they have all the AP tests. My friends' schools (public) go by school district, so that if their school doesn't have it, others do. They take them over at the other schools.
