I mean, I've read everything about JHU and I have like 2 years for applying to universities, but I'm still very anxious. All these international students I see are excellent scoring Asians (no offense) and i feel like I don't stand a chance. My GPA is good and I am studying hard for the SAT (ill take my first SAT in autumn), I've had some work experience but I don't have that much ECs. I have had hobbies, yes, but I am not a president of yacht or debate club, I don't have the option to join a chess club or win mathematics olympiad like all these other people do.
I do what I love and like; I love biking so I do it. I love soccer so I do it. I've had some hobbies like I told you (e.g. karate and soccer) but Im not in any club anymore.
Another thing is all these APs and sh** (sorry bad word). We don't have them. I see people with 2390 SAT, thousands of SAT IIs with full scores and plenty of ECs and APs, and it feels really funny. I feel nothing compared to them, yet I feel that I do have a chance. I will take few SAT IIs (they're not all available here I think) but I'm still very afraid of the academical english. I don't have a wide scientific vocabulary, so I am not sure if I can do SAT biology for example.

In summer, I will study for SAT, especially english vocabulary. Oh, and I have to do that 250$ TOEFL exam too.

Another thing maybe good for me, is our country's matriculation examinations (like SAT IIs). I'll do physics, math, biology, chemistry, french, spanish, english and finnish (im from finland). I hope JHU counts them.

If there are other international students, don't lose hope. I will try to get into JHU no matter what, it's my dream. My dream is JHU, and I will, i swear I will work hard to get into my favorite college. Are there any other Europeans dreaming of JHU? ANy Europeans IN JHU? Any other internationals giving tips?

thank you very much for even reading this post dear CC'ers
