How hard is it to find a job after graduation as an international student?

Specifically, the international students with a non-stem degree like Business or Economics.

I was going to say OPT extension but as you already said it’s not available for non-stem programs. so yeah, it is very hard.

Take a look at this https://newrepublic.com/article/120463/immigration-law-discourages-international-students-working

With just an undergraduate degree? Very nearly impossible.

Take advantage of everything that your OPT job has to offer, and work on developing contacts back home for when your OPT expires.

I happen to work for an H-1B cap-exempt organization that hires a bunch of international students each year, including econ majors who are good at statistics.

That said, I agree with happymomof1 that most international college graduates will not find a permanent job in the US. Most students who want to stay in the US will enroll in graduate school or start a family.
