<p>Just a question for anyone who's been in the tech industry for a while. I think it's a pretty cool field and I really like the idea of being a consultant. However, how hard is it to get an entry-level job at an IT consulting firm? I appreciate any answers I can get.</p>

<p>Be more specific what you mean. If you want to be someone supporting individuals, or banks or stock firms, that’s different from being a computer engineer. You should start looking at IT firms you’d like to work at, find out what they do, and go from there.</p>
<p>Also, you almost have to get an internship and network as much as possible before you graduate, especially if you are looking for a “high-powered” job.</p>
