How Hard Is The Toefle Ibt?

its very easy- well much easier than the sAT

thank you.

I'm going to take sometime in September.

do you think 2 months is enough to prepare for it?

easily! don't worry about it.

alright k twin, it's just that i was informed a couple of days ago that it is tough.

How tough it is depends on your language skills.
But I think every one who is fluent enough to read and write on this board should be fine.

alright,
thanxs barlum

the iBT is pretty easy, i just got my grade this sec... 119/120 =D and i had a 640 on CR and 730 on writing (i hate the CR of the SATs)

not very hard, just annoying-a gazillion of reading, i have no idea how it's supposed to measure your knowledge of the lanaguage. On top of that, it WAY too long-5 hours and you're ready to pass out right there.

I had 117/120 and didn't prepare at all. It really is easier than the SAT.

Can you take the TOEFL multiple times, and if so, does every score you get go on your record, like the SAT, or is each report separate, like the ACT?

You can take the TOEFL several times, and score reporting is similar to the ACT I believe (I had to select the test date for which I wanted to send the score, even though I only took the TOEFL once)

I hate the toefl
My testing center is horrible.
My score report said that it was hard to hear my voice because of my pronounciation, MY A S S, the microphones were messed up that's way, stuck on with tape and falling off the monitor.
I could hear the moderators or whatever talking and laughing; the ear plugs were headphones without the sound on. W T F? I could hear ppl typing on their keyboards so loudly with the entire tables shaking because the keyboards were not working !!!!
I hate the toefl and want to slap their faces for having the worst online order system all 5 of my credit cards wouldn't work (visas and mastercards from two different countries, and the phone orders work with my cards); they should seriously fix all their problems if they want more recognition as an english proficiency test.

Did you file an official complaint about the test center?
ETS cannot know that a test center uses broken equipment if no one tells them.

I scored 103, which is why I?m still desperately upset, that?s horrible.

I'm from sweden and found it really difficult , mostly because I kept looking at the ticking clock.
108/120

it's honestly not tht hard if you don't rush...and anything above a 100 is good for almost all universities. Another thing, do NOT do ur speaking part before everyone else...i did mine like 20 mins before everyone, and guess what? 20 mins later, i heard the guy behind me repeating what i had said almost verbatim lol...tht was really funny.

Well, take a few sample tests (thats what I did). Get familiar with the pattern.

I got a 115 after about 2 practice tests.
