Since it’s not something you can do on a whim, we’ll assume you have your host family all set up and ticket ready to go. That’s close enough. •43.1% of colleges say that extracurriculars are of moderate importance.
•38.1% of colleges say that extracurriculars are of limited importance.
•13.8% of colleges say that extracurriculars are of no importance.</p>

<p>ECs are not really important for the majority of schools. Most schools are not very selective. Ones that have less than a 75% acceptance rate. Admission to these schools are more based on objective data.</p>
<p>subjective attributes like ECs only come into play when schools need to differentiate between high-scoring applicants.</p>
