How important are SAT IIs?

<p>How important are SAT IIs? I am so concerned because I didn't do well on SAT IIs. I can't retake them because I'm a senior and already applied to colleges</p>

<p>Math IIC- 750
US History- 610
Biology- 590</p>

<p>How will colleges like Minnesota, Williams, Duke, UVA, and Brown view this? </p>

<p>I feel so bummed out :(</p>

<p>I think they look at two highest sections. So I think you are okay, although your second highest score-610-is quite too low for some colleges.</p>

<p>It depends on the college ranging from 1) don't look 2) will use them only if they help you, and 3) two are required.</p>

<p>The average on each SAT II subject is different, but most have an average of around 600. Remember that this "average" is not for the general population, but for the few people who are aiming for the elite colleges and who take that particular subject. People taking a particular SAT II subject normally are very strong students and pick the subjects that they do well in.</p>
