How important are senior year classes? (Tisch)

I'm an NYU Tisch Filmmaking hopeful, and a junior in high school now.
As of now I have a GPA of 3.8 (weighted, but still climbing! This does not take into account my Junior grades)
I have taken 6 honors classes and 2 APs, with plans to take 4 APs, one honors, and one regular class my senior year.

I have a 32 on the ACT.
My extracurriculars aren't killer, but I am pretty sure I'll have a very good portfolio, as I've made several short films that have been well received. Also, I have been in contact with the woman who will be reviewing my academic application.

I'm planning on applying early decision.

What I'm really asking is, would it be awful to drop my one regular class (calculus) my senior year? I know 4 years of everything are recommended, but as that is my only regular class, my senior year could hardly be seen as slacking...

Thoughts?
And if you feel like it, could you chance me as well?
Thanks much!!
