How is a Transfer applicant's GPA calculated for admission?

I am looking to transfer from USC to UNC… I was actually accepted to UNC as a freshman but I chose USC Honors College instead; but now (2 years in), I’m looking to transfer to UNC and wondering how they calculate your transfer GPA for acceptance?
