How is Financial Aid at UCLA?

only suckers live in the dorms

I chose a shared studio because it seems like the most economical option for someone that is not interested in subletting for the summer. In addition, the varying levels of utilities can make or break a roomshare option. Escalating electricity and water bills is something that I'm worried about.

I think for about $600/month and having the freedom to run the heat/ac, computers, water all day is well worth it. because if you add up my 500watt power supply, need for 75 degree temperature room, and 2-3 daily showers, it pays for itself.

Anyone know when the efan notifications will be completed?

I+ jus+ depends. You'll probably ge+ one near +he end of July. I+ is pre++y similar +o your ePAL so go ahead and make es+ima+ions from +ha+ if you mus+.

when is the deadline to accept the financial aid package ucla offers you?

Generally, they want you to confirm it ASAP. Reminder - they do have to disburse your funds for fall quarter! To be safe, I'd confirm it by the end of August.

UCLA has been meeting 100% of need for us. Grants/Scholarships, loans, and work study. Of the UC's, UCLA had a better aid package than the others.

Plan ahead, get your EFC down, to maximize your aid potential (at any college).
