How is Kinesiology here? And how is life at University Village?

Hi everyone. So I am a transfer student who would be attending in the fall. I will be majoring in Kinesiology with and emphasis on Exercise Science. However, I am trying to figure out if the Kinesiology department at CSU Fullerton is on par with or even better than Pomona as these are the two schools I have narrowed down. Right now I am leaning towards Pomona as I know that the Cal Poly’s seem to have more name recognition and are a little higher ranked. Does anyone have any info that I should know about the major here? Also is it hard to get into classes?

My other concern is how it is to live at the University Village? I know that renting a room off campus would be a lot cheaper but I like the idea of living in a community with other college students. The suits seem to run a little bit more pricey so those are out of question. I would like to hear any experiences that any of you have living at the village? Also does anyone know how quickly the housing spots fill up? Thanks

I don’t know anything about CPP’s kinesiology department. I do, however, know that they are building a brand new 100,000+ sqft recreation building with rock climbing walls and a giant pool.

@gotsomehope‌ Hey do you know when the recreation building will be completed? Or at least like an estimate.

@justinmega1‌ They said it would be complete by this fall

I dropped by the recreation center last week. It’s still under construction but it looks very promising. It sticks out compared to the BSC/Bookstore and the gym because they were constructed decades ago. The pool also looks decent; not totally upscale but is modernized.
