How is Rubin Hall?

I’m considering putting Rubin Hall as my first choice on my housing app because of the lower cost.

I’m wondering:

  1. Is the place kept pretty clean? Ie: no cockroaches or rats or weird smells.
  2. How spacious are the rooms in general? Are the “efficiency rooms” extremely tiny?
  3. I hate bunked beds. Do the triples generally have bunked beds?

If you can answer ANY of these questions, I would really appreciate it!!

  1. Is the temperature in the rooms typically alright? I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the lack of AC, and about the heater in the winter.

My sister roomed in Rubin in her freshman year and she loved it. She said the lack of A/C really wasn’t a problem (only during Welcome Week maybe), because you’re already out of school before it gets too hot.
