I know Ashton and Eigenmann has community bathrooms but is one of them better in terms of cleanliness, newness and janitorial servicing. As for Teter, the IU residence hall amenities chart states that Teter has eight full baths per floor. What's the difference between having eight full baths and a community bathroom. Is either one better?

A community bathroom is having one bathroom for the floor (or one for boys and one for girls). Imagine bathroom stalls, except they’re showers.

The 8 full baths are 8 separate bathrooms on the floor that each have a shower, toilet, and sink. The doors lock. The main difference is that they offer significantly more privacy.

You’ll get used to the community baths if you have them during the first week or so, and it won’t be a big deal. The full baths though are nicer though.

Does Teter accept freshman? I’m not sure if this true but I read that Teter tends to have more upperclassmen.

devilray–not true. There are lots of freshman in Teter.

Teter does have 3 Honors floors and at least one other Learning Community. Honors students, for whatever reason, are more likely to remain in the dorms soph. year, (At least that’s what the Hutton rep said during orientation). That may be the reason why you heard there are more upperclassmen. That, and the great location.
