How is the premed program at washington university?

<p>It's excellent. The campus is gorgeous, the dorms are very nice, and there is no complains at all about food.</p>

<p>WashU Stl is one of the top schools and I plan to apply there.</p>

<p>Food and dorms is the most important part of college, it seems like WUSTL has all of that.</p>

<p>Pre-meds completely dominate WUStL's biology department. I would thoroughly hate it, but I suppose pre-meds like it.</p>

<p>Its clearly good, because WashU is a respected school (although its still not viewed as highly as most of the schools ranked around it on USNEWS). There's no correlation between colleges med school rank and its grad placement into top med schools. If you want to be a doctor go to any highly reputed undergrad school, get a good GPA, do well on the MCAT, and do a thesis so you form a strong relationship with a professor or do research. </p>
