For the first time in my life, im using up my summer worrying about non-relaxation stuff... its like another semester of school...more about worrying.

so as for me... summer so far is hectic... everyday i have to do something... attend a class or go to work or do a house project...homework...

but its not like i want to plan an all out vacation to disney world any time soon anyways... cause then there are the transportation issues and the packing and booking for hotels and finding our ways around florida and blah blah blah... so my vacation would be the simiplest... stay at home and chill :3

I have yet done nothing in any of my school breaks.. I will get a job or something in the next one.

I was wondering, how long are the 2 breaks in the states? Here, we have 3 2-week holidays and a 6 week holiday from december to january (we have 4 terms in a school year). thanks

where i live... school starts around last week of august and ends after the first week of june and our winter and spring breaks are only a week long each... which is NEVER enough.

Pretty busy...finalising trading systems, had interviews (got a top notch internship during the academic year), learning calculus by myself, learning programming, and doing a lot of reading. This on top of doing chores I neglected the entire year. Still its better than last summer where I really had 2 weeks off as I worked at a law firm 7 hours a day before attending prep classes.

Summer starts last week of June and school starts the middle of second week in september.

relatively relaxing..
teaching myself mv calc, doing college essays (all of which are complete failures thus far), taking a couple of classes, and my job is just 8 hours a week - so no biggie...hmm..I have to get around to finishing that newsletter....doing a lot of reading too...

For my district, we usually start the last week of August, get three days off for Thanksgiving, two weeks for Christmas, one week for ski week in February, one week for spring break, and get out in the middle of June. Plus we have random one day holidays sprinkled throughout the year.

And my summer has been pretty relaxing so far. Though that may be because I've been procrastinating my homework...

I'm with korey. School starts in about two weeks though, here. Haha, remember all of the things I told myself I would do during the summer? How many have I actually done....

I went to a summer program... it was awesome^2... I'm good for another few weeks before it starts to get boring again. Plus I work so it helps alittle bit.

it's been really relaxing. Only 4 more weeks left though. eek.

been working on a couple of projects( computer program 4 teach, taking driver's ed, tweaking tutoring plan ,etc) . that, boredom and the occasional fun with friends occupies most of my summer

has anyone seen Batman begins? I saw it today with a friend and it was AWESOME.

I've been trying to relax, but also earn some money and get ready for school with a little reading (at work). I was pretty much doing the same thing everyday for a while, but been getting out with friends lately when I get a chance from work. Saw most movies that are out (work at a theatre). Went to see Dave Mordal last night and Wedding Crashers. I highly recommend both. Batman was awesome. One of the best movies this year. The beginning was a little confusing.

wow some of you guys go back to school really early, but i guess it just depends on where you live. my summer has been awesome so far, pretty busy but mostly spent in nyc at work and with friends.

I started working after exactly two days of rest, which sort of sucked. Next time I work over the summer it's not going to be 9-6, no one deserves to be that bored for that long. The first week and a half was great, I was out with friends (some of them seniors I won't see for six months) every night. Then, of course, they all left on vacation, and since then I've gone to work, come home, and read or gone running every day, also fun. Now I'm $936 richer and am leaving on vacation for a month tmorrow morning. This is the worst part of the summer, as "vacation" means visiting my parents' relatives in small towns. Yippee.
