How long do ACT scores take/ did they take

Hi,

I was wondering how long it took to get back your ACT scores with writing or without. I called but they just kept repeating 3-8 weeks. I need to take the September 10th date in hopes my scores will be ready for an October 1st deadline and some info on Google says they only take 2 weeks so I was wondering what your experiences were with the ACT results.

MC scores come out 10 days after the exam and the full score report (MC + Writing) comes out in 2-8 weeks.

That actually will work really well with my schedule if I don’t need writing. Thank you @Darthjt

Generally, ACT results come out much faster than SAT results (May SAT results come out June 15th, yikes!).

@DeeperBlue25 I know it totally sucks. I would have to blindly submit the scores for the SAT in order to meet my deadlines and that just may not be worth the risk. I have an 1860 from over a year ago so that may be find but I think it is insane they take so long especially since they don’t even have an essay anymore… It should only take a few weeks max.

I know the process speeds up during the school year, though. For the October SAT, I got scores back in two to three weeks.
