<p>you fill out your FAFSA and your school of choice is given the information.</p>
<p>from there the bursar office / financial aid office will recieve the “money” (i say that loosely because they dont actually have liquid cash in their coffers) and they’ll send you a check or something along the lines of that.</p>
<p>you are given aid based off your fafsa and your status as a student (at my school they give you full aid if you are a full-time and half if you are a part-time student with at least 6? units)</p>
<p>i’m fairly positive that you can apply for fafsa as long as you are a student… but correct me on this if i’m wrong.</p>
